Where is the sensor for this warning on my dash... Can I some how get a temp read out from the same spot. I want to try to find a easy way of getting a rough idea of my tran temp. I have no luck in putting holes in pans with out a leak, right now my truck leaks nothing and want to keep it that way lol....

 

Its deep inside the transmission. A regular gauge probably doesnt read the same signals that the sender in the transmission does anyway.

Just put it in the front servo port and forget it.
