Question 318 FI to carb, and roller cam questions

Hello everyone, I have a 1988 W100 4x4 with the throttle body injected 318 that Im getting ready to swap to an aluminum aftermarket intake and Edelbrock carb, along with a Skip White distributor.

My question is, does the 360 roller cam have different specs than the 318? One guy tells me the roller cams of the 318/360are the same, the next says sticking a factory 360 roller cam in a 318 is like putting an rv/towing cam in it.

Thanks in advance from a newbie.

Can I retrofit to a flat tappet style cam for a 360 in this 318?? Not sure if the lifters and pushrods will work?

Well, I figured it out on my own. I bought an aftermarket flat tappet cam, lifters, springs, etc. and called a few actual Mopar experts and found out all I need to replace the roller cam is factory pre 1988 (pre roller cam pushrods) for 5.2 or 5.9 engines.

Cant wait to get the fuel injection in the trash and try this little 318 out with some fuel and flow!
