Detroit trutrac is an excellent locker, the lock right is a lunchbox locker i believe so not quite as strong, and the powerlock posi is what comes standard in the Dana 70's and 80's and is very good for a limited slip.

Yes but I wouldn't. If you don't have manual hubs any traction device besides a selectable locker will cause the front drive shaft to spin at all times. Just putting the trutrac in the rear will help traction A LOT. I can understand the want for front and rear lockers but I would hold off on the front until you can get a selectable.

The only drawbacks to the Truetracs are their inability to provide lockup 100% like a locking differential can, Go with a real Detroit locker and dont look back !Its very strong with a great history.

since you've got the dana 60's you've got several options.
i've got the lunchbox locker - powertrax noslip, and its good for the price $400, but the cadillac is the selectables. no personal experience with either. the ARB seems overly complex with the air compressor and lines and crap, but maybe its simpler than it seems. in theory the OX Lock sounds the best with cables to engage/disengage the lock. somebody on here has an OX on their dana44 front end. it might be Aubrey.

powertrax noslip is only for stock horsepower and tires up to 33, so this is probably not right for you. Detroit can handle anything. my powertrax is a full time locker, same as the detroit. its ok, but a selectable would be better, especially if you drive 99% of the time on the road.

i've had good luck here. they're more into jeep, but carry, or can get, anything. their web site is not the best, but they promise to be the lowest price on the internet. give them a call, they're good guys.
