Question Dash fix opinions?

hey guys, my 2001 (like almost every 98-01 dodge ram) has the terrible dash cracking, i had an idea today because a hole finally happened to my poor dash and i dont like my truck to look too "trashy" but i had seen some stuff at napa i think it was rubberized undercoating... and i had wondered to myself if i carfully tape the entire dash or glue or something to hold it together during removal, then glue or epoxy the existing cracks then spray the entire thing with black undercoating? it seemed like a good idea while i was not paying attention in school today...

any thoughts? (great idea or BAD IDEA DONT DO IT!!!)

When you see how much work it is to just remove the dash you will not want to waste that effort to put back a jury-rigged fix.

Better learn quick that when it comes to a vehicle, be prepared for maintenance costs.

Anyway, for broke dicks like yourself, get some duct tape.
