fronts are 6x9. rears are 5-1/4, but 6-1/2's will fit.
you have to be a little careful with the fronts, as the window frame behind the speaker creates a shallow hole. to fit in the hole, crutchfield list 6-1/2 rounds.

i put in 6x9, and shimmed them out 1/4".

I put some cheapo 3way vr4's in my front doors and they fit and sound great for a $24 set of speakers from walmart lol

edit: yes the fronts are 6x9's and the rears 5 1/4

I din't put speakers in the back yet because i have a 4-channel amp and 2 of those channels are in use for my subwoofer.

I would like to know if anybody has put larger speakers in the rear location in a 1998 Dodge Ram extended cab? I believe 5.25 are the stock size ..but I would like to put 6x9's if possible ...even if it needs to be a custom job...
