Mine is the same i have a 99 5.2 ram and if i am in higher RPM's then i will get a flashing check engine light (miss fire) but only up hill not sure what cylinder.
I have E3 diamond fire in it right now and let me say wow they work great.
But ya not sure why we are getting this code but hey at least we do have something that says hey somethings up (OBD2 love hate relationship)

Welcome to DF.

Not to sound like a professor or anything, but could you please clean up your grammar/spelling? Misspellings are fine now and then, no one is perfect. However, when you combine those with lack of punctuation and lack of grammar, it makes your posts very hard to read. I am not slamming you, I am just delivering some constructive criticism. Some people on this forum will take one glance at your lack of these things and never read another thread you make again. By cleaning all this up, more people will be willing to help you because they can more easily understand you.

As far as plugs go, the 5.2L V8 and 5.9L V8 pretty much handle plugs the same way. Champions or NGKs seem to be the predominant choices, but Autolites are OK sometimes, and some like the E3 plugs. Find a set your engine likes, and stick with them.

To get rid of your misfire code, I'd first replace your plugs, your plug wires, your distributor cap, and your distributor rotor. Basic tune-up. Disconnect the battery for several minutes, and then reconnect (this clears the codes). If your misfire code comes back, let us know.
