Default New power steerin pump - still not working

Hey Guys,

I was having trouble with the power steering pump. Lots of noise and it would only work sometimes when I reved up the engine.

I just finished replaceing it and I have no power steering.
I bled the system:
Took off return line from the pump, pluged the pump end.
started vehicle for 2 seconds and watched all the old stuff shoot into the bucket from the return line.
re attached and ran through left to right process
took off line and bled again.
I have gone left to right a ton of times with the steering wheel and I still have No power steering... just very tough manual.

any thoughts?
Could it still be air?

First thought is are th seals in the gearbox OK?

Second thought is the relief valve in the pump working/set right?

Air should be mostly worked out with a couple of turns hard right and hard left.

Does pump change sound as the wheel is turned? You might need to find someone with a tee fitting for the pressure line, and 3000 PSI gauge. Most systems are like 1200 to 2400 PSI.

Maybe your pump is ok and it's your other steering components?
