We Need to Make a 4X4 Trail List
We should make a list in the FAQ or something for some good trails for our trucks. We could rate them, recommend them, say how hard they are and what might be needed to make it through.
The reason why I say we make one for just us 2nd Genners is because we have a similar vehicle to use on the trails. I look online, and I see a lot of Jeeps, but simply put, my vehicle isn't a Jeep; it's longer and wider and might need more modifications to make it through the same trail. I want to see a list full of trail descriptions that are tailored to what our trucks are all about.
I think this would be a great place to find trails when travelling out of state too. For instance if I went to Colorado or some other state, I'd probably like to find some cool places to hit the trails at.
Just an Idea, What do you guys think?

I can give you a long list of places in florida
Freeport florida, hwy 331 right as you pass over the bridge into sandestin. Take the exit next to the bridge and there's over 3 miles of sand/clay to play in, no mans land.
Niceville florida, claypit's off of hwy 90 heading south 4 miles from maryester on the right hand side.
Defuniak springs florida, hwy 83 1.4 mile from glendale heading north toward darlington al there is a old logging trail, cant miss it.
Pace florida, old hwy 90.... all of old hwy 90
Milton florida, Hwy 90 east bound towards crestview. Right past black water state part.
Mossyhead florida, clay pits, 6 miles east of paradise dragstrip on hwy 90
Defuniak springs florida, Hwy 331 heading south, 10 miles before you get to eglin AFB's first side gate, HUGE open field owned by the state that is unmarked and ready to bog in, retired bombing site so there is ton's of holes to play in.
And my all time fave, railroad ave in glendale florida pick a spot and tear it up.
Minnesota, none iv found so far.

I think we need to get these all together, like the DIYs, and have a thread for each trail, with pictures, videos, ratings and recommendations.
Any suggestions? This idea is getting better and better!

I don't mean now haha I mean when/if this actually gets going. It'll be like DIYs but for offroading.

I think it would be a great Idea. Organize it by state so that you can go to your state and add trails and ratings and is easy to find. Good thought. Now if we can get lots of other folks on the bandwagon I think it could be done.
EDIT= I just found this site at about.com about places and trails. Maybe a good place to check out to get the ball rolling maybe???

Yeah, that's good!
Next time any of you guys go somewhere offroad, take a camera, then make a thread and writeup a little description for it, including stuff like:
Ratings of how it was
Things needed for the trip
Modifications recommended to make it through (like winches and lifts)
Info on warnings and difficult areas
How long it took
Just a writeup of things like that would be awesome, it would expand DF a little.
