Default A few parts for sale

Guys, I haven't been on the 2nd gen forum for awhile now, bought an 09 back in April of last year. Anyway at one point I was going to install a set of shorty headers on my 99 5.9 but never got around to it. I gave the 99 to my son but he told me he doesn't really want to mess with it so I've decided to sell them if anyone is interested. These are the shorties that summit racing was selling for like $150 bucks or what ever. I did modify them a little by striping off all the crappy black paint down to the bare metal. I then spayed several coats of hi temp (1300 deg) primer on them. While doing this I had my heatgun blowing through the inside of the headers to keep the metal warm. I also used the heat gun to dry each coat before painting the next. I then sprayed 3 coats of high temp silver engine paint using the same method. They've never been bolted on and I still have the original gaskets as well as a set of copper gaskets still in the package. If anyone is interested I would take $50 for the set and that includes both sets of gaskets. I'm not a painter so I make no guarantees the spray paint will last, just telling you what I was going to try to make it last. You could send them out to a company like HPC and have them professionally done if you'd like. Anyway I also have both the left and right side black vinyl tape deal that goes on the front doors. I never got around to replacing them either. Will through those in for an extra $10 if wanted. I live near San Antonio, TX. If you are interested please PM. Jeff.
