Default Busted the front fuel tank strap

I'm a flooring Contractor and have been working out in the sticks on a house. Well the 2 miles of bumpy dirt roads that you have to go down to get to the job did my tank straps in. I didn't realize it until I was raking the lawn looked under my truck and there it was hanging down. So my truck is down for a week until NAPA can get the straps in. At a Cost of $52.00. I'm going to crawl under there today and ratchet strap the tank up so I can get by until I get the straps.

Were they rusted? While you have the tank down, you should do fuel pump, if its original.,

They where rusty...I didn't think they where rotten though. I still have to ratchet strap the tank back up for a temp fix. I'm going to wait on the pump. Too much to pay for right now.
