Default Idle issue

My 94 Ram 1500 is idling really low at normal temp. It is a manual tranny and seems to run fine when driving. However, when I slow down or hold the clutch in while moving, the rpms drop to 0 and the vehicle stalls on most occasions. Can anyone help me with this issue? I can not figure out how to change the idle speed. I suspect that spark plugs would be the issue. I have pulled a few out and they seem fine but will probably replace them all anyway. It seems to be getting enough fuel...so i am thinking electrical.

Could be a bad cat. It is stalling out when it is not under load.

Welcome to the forum.

You cannot change the idle speed, the IAC sensor and PCM control the idle. The IAC is a relatively cheap replacement, if you want to try that fix before moving onto more expensive possibilities. They have been known to go faulty on occasion.
