well im almost ready to get into that intake fix everyone talks about. I just have to wait for the weather to warm up a bit more because i have to work outside. I sure hope this fixes my truck. I cant believe the 318 wont turn the tires on pavement unless its wet, and doesnt like to turn them on the dirt. Im only running 265/75/16's allthough the door sticker is calling for 225's, and the 3.55:1 gears are just stupid in a truck so that will be fixed soon too. Im also going to do the plug wire TSB while under the hood to fix that skip around 1000 rpm. I will let u guys all know how it turns out when i get it done. Just one step at a time i guess, and thanks for all the info.

 

my 360 wont turn the tires either. But im pretty sure the plentium is gone.

 

You all must have major problems, You prob got the death flash. (get a tuner. preferably a Sct.) My 360 only has a tuner on 93 and I only have 4:10 gears and it turns my 35's over with no problem.

 

I'm glad my truck cannot spin its tires. Saves on tires.

I feel bad for people with death flash. Got new rubbers so its time to put these old ones to good use.

 

I stole (not really more like borrowed) my friends superchip programer from his 06 ram and there was a noticable power difference. I actually gained almost 15mph in the distance of three telephone poles. The truck still would not spin these tires unless there was dirt on the road. The programmer made it spark knock like crazy in the higher rpm's but i only was running 87 octaine. My speed in three poles was 70mph, not to bad for a truck

 

Mine will never spin a tire on a straight pull on pavement, but whipping around a corner I can, and in the rain easily. It will also do a brake stand. All these are one tire though. The Posi is worn out. Its got some mods, 3.55s and 285s. If you can mash the throttle and lay a black mark down from a dead stop on straight clean blacktop thats impressive.

Fixing the plenum is the best performance mod/fix I ever did. There was a night and day difference.

i had death flash and coulnt get them to spin even break torque, i installed the superchips flashpaq 3815 and it spins my tires off now even without break torque and i have 3.55 gears
