Hhhmmm.... can't find anything on it. According to theory, the VIN number should be stamped into the engine somewhere in front of the drivers side head........

Not sure about 4.7's but Chrysler stopped doing that in the 70's(vin on block). Usually if you look up the casting # it will tell what year or years if was from.
