Default ebay trackbars

good or bad?

http://cgi.ebay.ca/1-Track-Bar-Dodge...54210189998086

dealer wants 425 for a trackbar and autovalue 300. i barely have 100

my dodge has the typical crappy steering response and i can see the frame end TRE on the trackbar is moving. so ya.

There's track bars on there for $65.50 shipped with a 1 year warranty http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Are these pretty much the same as you would buy at AutoZone, Advance Auto, etc? Not really much to these things. I don't see how much different they could be.

lol, yea i see the 50$ shipping fee. still 300$ cheaper.

so then you'd suggest a moog or something?

i don't see the need for an adjustable trackbar on a stock truck; nor will i be lifting up 8" anytime soon. on something lifted and wheeled, ya get a good one.

big question, whats the difference between these ebay track bars and the OEM crap sold at the dealership? i'm 100% sure its nothing; and the moog ones are just a different TRE........ but 400$ more..........

tell ya guys what, i'm gonna buy this puppy and i'll let ya know how it holds up .

All factory replacement track bars have the same fundimental problem as the track bar that is on your truck. IT WILL FAIL again. Thats why you should save up some money and upgrade.

if you're using heims on a trackbar (like theDTprofab one) that WILL FAIL too. heims are prone to do that. only difference is the heim tbar is rebuildable.

appreciate the input though; and FWIW i'd go with the dtprofab kit if i had the money; but i don't ;( so gotta go with a cheaper option.

any one run the Moog Tbars that the autoparts stores are pushing?
