Question Transmission/ Oxygen sensor Help!!!!

Well, I have a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 and I just had my transmission rebuilt. Now im having an eletrical issue with the oxygen sensor. I replaced the sensor with an aftermarket sensor and when the oxygen sensor is plugged in, it causes the truck when at a stop thinking that it is still going and when the oxygen sensor is not plugged in everything is running fine.
I dont know what to do or what the problem is?

i can tell you that running 4.10 gears with 37's will cause that new tranny of yours to take a premature sh*t.....as far as the o2 sensor......get another one

is it possible that you got some crap in the wire harness, maybe some rust. try a little dielectric grease.
trace the wires, maybe they damaged it when they were working on your tranny

well its still in the tranny shop and they are trying to see if they can fix it but if not they are going to refer me to another shop that they partner with. They called me and informed me about this situation so i wanted to see what you guys thought.

Would it have something to do with a clogged cat? because if they are not able to fix the problem, they said that they would only release it to me with the oxygen sensor not plugged in because it would not cause a problem.

What kind of sensor did you use? Bosch sensors usually cause problems.

I tend to agree, but others have used them without ill effects.

I prefer NTK (made by NGK) myself.

They don't necessarily "cause" problems from what I've read, but they just seem to fail more often and not last as long.

Granted, thats not personal experience, that is just from what I've read. Take it with a grain of salt.
