I'd rather sell this one and buy a ZR2. I like the look of those things. Although the 2 doors wouldn't be much good for the kiddos
and the next vehicle I buy will be a DODGE. Prolly either a durango or (shudder) Grand Caravan lol. She's been wantin a minivan lately, and I said a GC would be the only van I'd buy.
As long as I get to drive my faithful ol Ram, she can drive whatever she wants. But I'm only gonna work on a dodge

See usually when you got a rearend thats dry you're gonna hear a whinning sound almost like you hear from a small car when they back up really fast.
And if it was blown it would be klunking like a sob or even locked up for that matter, as far as the water goes, hey ya never know it might have been ice that had collected round the seal of the diff cover and then thaw hit it just seeped into the diff case. I wouldnt worry too too much about it being damaged, just change the fluid and try your best to get as much of that water/foam out as possible. Then go get some valvoline 90w gear oil. It's what iv always used in mine and will last about as long as your truck will.
Handles heat really good and is really good on the seals, also you could toss in a lil lucas also it wouldnt hurt, but most deff replace that damn seal and cover.

Durango all the way! Save you on oil filters and plenum gaskets!

If you go for a durango go for the 1st gen, i really dont like the look of the 2nd gen, unless you get the chrysler luxury version which at that point you got the ***** of a ram and the luxury of a caddy all in one package.
as far as the ZR2's those things look nice with 35's but the 4.3's cant really pull them. So 31's would do great on them with a decent lift considering the tires that come factory as small as hell compaired to the fullsize trucks
