yeah thats usually the first thing i take out to, or just disconnect the wires behind it.

i find it easier to just remove the buzzer from the fuse block. i like the lighs to come on with the door open but hate the buzzing, so i just remove buzzer

cutting the wires and removing the buzzer/chimer is a lot of overkill that makes you lose your dome lights and on the later models (chimer) - loses the other warning chimes like headlights on, low fuel, check gauges, etc.

an alternative method is to remove the steering column covers and unplug the electrical connector that senses the key in the switch. its on the bottom side of the switch. just unplug it and tape it out of the way.

hey nothin beats them not having a line item to charge you for it, thats how i get alot of my stuff for free. Pretty much worthless to them and it's not like it's an important part such as an alt or a pump.

2 bucks online turns into 7 or 8 bucks with shipping
