Its in my door and controls the inside lights.

i always call them cabing light switches, dont know the technical name....whats wrong with it?

Well I was camping back in OCT and used a log to keep the door open and get ride of that ding ding ding from the keys being in the truck. Well I had a good idea to stick the log in there to hold it open and it pushed the sensor it self in so now I use duck tape so the inside lights stay off.

i hate those things. i have a mazda pickup and that switch got bent and broke and has cause pains ever since.

yep, rockauto has em for $2 door jamb switch, knowin you tho youre gonna find it on google for .50 lol

pshh..those things are always one of the first things to go..i always pull it out snip the wires and call it done

although i havent done it with my ram yet..idk why just never have..the way i look at it..i dont really need interior lights anyway if i want them just turn them on via headlight switch..and no one likes that damn ding

ill get around to doing it with my ram once i start driving it again..im sure of it..
