Default Throttle Body & Plenum Leak Q&A

I just got threw cleaning my throttle body, and as I looked down it. I did not see oil pooling up but I did see a rather heavy lining of oil but i could still see the metal at the bottom. My truck is around 180k miles and im pretty sure the plenum gasket is blown. How do I fix this, should I just replace the gasket, or go ahead and replace the pan with an aluminum as well. Where do I get the parts necessary.

search plenum gasket and you will have hours of reading info and how tos. Your best bet would be doing the plenum plate from hughes.

Oh no, you've got me under pressure!!!

Maybe you can remove that damn throttle body spacer when you replace your plenum! Melt it down and make your own plenum plate!

Ive heard it would be the smart thing to do. I read the threads about it being useless so thats not a bad idea. Just happened to come across them to late after buying.
