Default extremely bad need of 4.88 gears please!

Anyone have rear 4.88 for a 9.25 rear diff. I need them bad please someon help me out.

You going to install them yourself? If not, the major cost of gears is not in the buying the gears themselves, it is in the labor to install them. You going to do the front too?

You need to do front as well if you have 4x4

and you can get the gears from summit for like $216 bucks i think it was....but i wouldnt do it yourself....

No, you don't have to do the front if you don't want. You just won't be able to use 4wd anymore until you do.

Yeah ill be putting them in. And that's right I'm just disconnecting the front shaft.

i like ordering through randy's. they have always been helpful to me through a couple of projects. and dont discount the yukon brand. randy's gave me a lifetime warranty on them for i want to say an extra $40. and that warranty even protects against a bad install!! try that on for size. its not hard to set up. if you havent done one before, find somebody who has, get a dial indicator, and instructions if possible. after 2 or 3 installs its a breeze.

it also looks like they have the 4.88 gears for the dana 44 front on sale right now for $180.
