This may be a stupid question but have you checked your intake bolts? On mine, I found out that all but 2 were not down to specs.

How about reseting the computer a while if you haven't already done so. Pull the neg cable, go in and turn the key to start your truck and hold it for a few sec. Hook the cable back up. Re-plug in your sensors if disconnected, Put the throttle plates back in regular position. When it starts it should high idle and slowly work down the idle. That should be a good test to double check that the IAC is functioning properly.

EDIT... nvm, you just said above you swaped the battery out. This would have taken care of the above.
