Definity Dakota M/T
Well I'm in need of tires and I like going off the beaten path quite often problem is 2wd, I have a friend trying to find out what kind of deal he can get me from his job but if that doesnt work out im looking at the Definity Dakota M/T as my tire of choice.
Why you ask they are cheap, got a quote for 265/75/16's load range E out the door on the truck for less than 580. I cant stand pepboys or their service but I wont need to deal with it but for putting the tires on and possibly if I have a problem. Oh yea they look sweet and have OWL
I understand they are made by Cooper Tires and all reviews on coopers and definity dakotas that I have seen have been good.
I'm not looking for your opinion on the best tire for my truck but rather either sell me on these tires or make me run away, I know I will get extra road noise and maybe some extra vibes but I'm young and can deal with it

I am just cant afford them, plus their not as aggresive as I want, in a couple more years when I have another truck one with a diesel this will get some LTX's back on it but for now I'm stepping away from one of if not the best all around tire.
And just like the sound of my motor cruising down the highway a tire roar just hits the spot. And when someone flings mud all over my truck I will be able to have sweet revenge

they ain't really that loud. Mine worked great in the snow. In a swapy field not so much lol. Other then that I have no problems. Just make sure you check the pressure in them and rotate them the way you should or they will wear down prety quick
Yokohamas geolanders are great, i got the geo AT/S 285s on my truck and they are nice an quiet, TONS of grip on snow/rain/dirt(like goin off road in the mountains an hills), Discount tire online has them, and free shipping. I bought mine last year for around 600 shipped. Really a great tire

i have geolanders also but they wear out quickly on pavement, they ride nice and have nice tred but thats about it.
I'd say go for it red, i had a set of cooper cobras on my bmw and cooper seems to hold up nicely.

they'er really good soft tires, very quiet but like i said i do NOTHING but pavement here and i dont do burn outs or drifting or anything of that nature, just everyday driving.
im sitting at around 19k on mine now and they'er starting to show their age
