Mine is at the 149K mile mark and is holding strong, so far. The PO said he power flushed it every 45K miles. It does moan sometimes in reverse but only when below freezing and still not always

162K on the stock tranny, it towed a 26' boat for the first 6 years then got it easy for the next 6 and the past year has been hell on it, but the fluid is clean and it shifts like a champ.

I have the origional tranny and my truck has 241,000 miles on it. I go muddin all the time and drag race it almost every week during the summer !

i don't know anything about mine's life with its previous owner. i bought it with about 120K and its got about 160k now. i put on a cooler, remote filter, drain plug, and change the fluid about once a year. i tow a normal sized boat a little and haul wood occasionally.

does anyone know how to identify a rebuild from just dropping the pan or inspecting the outside? any little tell-tale signs.
