hid lights 99 dodge 1500

Exclamation hid lights 99 dodge 1500

i recently had a stereo shop install the conversion hid kit on the dodge and i noticed that when i hit the switch for the brights that the whole headlights turn off except for the side yellow ones up front, is this common or should i go to that store and rip there F894kin heads off... this shop is good ive gotten my stereos amps and subs for my truck and bmw installed at this place just looking for imput plus im going to get some halo lights soon for the dodge to get rid of those orig oem headlight cover

the headlight switch is a common thing to go bad on these trucks.... check that out first

it's most likely either that or the high/low switch

Or you may have gotten a single filament hid light meant for only low beam. As in for cars with dual beam headlights. I would check that first. Another thing, when you buy the projector halos you will have to buy new HID's because the bulb will be different, you will need either h1's or h3's.

ok well i was thinking that maybe ill just add some hid foglights and when i turn my brights on they will come on along with them insted of having an individual switch, if thats even possible
