Tire Sizing Help??
Hey I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 sport 4x4, and right now its sitting on 33" nitto mud grapplers with a leveling kit. The question I have is, if I put a 5" lift on it and leave the leveling kit on the front in addition to the lift, can I fit 37" nitto mud grapplers? Its fitting 33's easy right now with just leveling kit. Thanks for any help!
people run 35's on 5" of lift which is generous. You would be fine height wise with 7" and 37's. Not sure about articulation (might need some fender cutting
) Just keep in mind the front axles do not like anything above 35's, and some don't even like that. Plan on regearing for sure with something that size. Also check local laws too for legality on something that big. (bumper height, frame height, headlight height etc). Bottom line, yeah you can do it but it will not be cheap. If it is your daily driver, slap a 3" body lift on and some 35's and call it done for now.

3.55 if you're stock which is what i have and im running 33's , im not sure if it very's between years. if you're running 35's i would say 4.56 gears but im sure a few other guys are going to suggest something also so you will have some options.
Your looking at around 1500 to regear, you have to do both front and rear axles if you want to keep it 4x4.

If you do expect your power to be reduced by atleast half, im running 33s on 3.55 gears and trust me i notice a difference over riding on 31's.
i would not suggest running 35's at all with stock gears
