Unhappy 2-3 shift issue 46re

got my 46re to move in drive, electrical connector was partly out. now 1-2 shift is awesome, but at 2-3 shift all hell breaks loose. the truck stops as if i were using the brakes, and i am hearing a squeal. any ideas???

Default 2-3 shift

i think my problem is the band engagement and release on the 2-3 shift are not right, but if i adjust the front band out any further im afraid the band anchor might fall out. maybe rear band engages too early??
