Default High pitch whine after plenum fix

I just replace my plenum gasket and plate with a hughes set. installed the intake and all the other crap and now I have a high pitch whining sound like a vaccume leak. I have checked all the hoses and nothing. if I put my thumb over the line that hooks into the intake. the noise gets quieter but still not all the way. I have change throttle bodies and still the same thing. Do you think the plenum is leaking still??? I'm just about tired of this thing lol. First a pinched wire now this. please help if you can

Did this happen before the plenum was fixed?

nope didnt happen before the fix, and yes its the stock air cleaner its not a hiss but a ear wrenching whine can hear a block away.It sounds like its coming from the intake but i have checked with my hands everywhere. and then i thought it was the throttle body and so i had a spare and changed it also. same thing

nope not the belt its a vaccume whine. if i hit the throttle it quiets down but if i put my hand over the tb it stays. like i said if i put my thumb over the hose that goes to the air box then it quiet downs some. like its internal or something

Did you use RTV on the new plate gasket?

Hope it's not internal or leaking still. I'd try the propane trick all over the engine, intake ,vac lines etc , everywhere, for ****s and giggles.

Breather tube cracked at the valve cover? Little rubber gaskets on the ends of the intake seated correctly? You can use a mechanics mirror and flashlight to check the back.
