If your talking about ubuntu its a operating system for a computer, Its very low reqiurements, And *******ly no virus's. Its a linux operating system. Very nice to use, But when you got a problem its hard as hell to fix if you are a average computer user, Although google is your friend. Also its FREE.
Yea, been through enough of it to like it almost as much as windows but not all the way yet.

This be true. I just spent six hours trying to load a wireless NIC driver and it was complete hell for this user who has no linux background. Lemme tell ya, Karmic has issues with Atheros wireless cards. On the good side of things, my battery life has gone from 1-1 1/2 hours to right at 2 hours under this OS. Then look at memory use and it's amazing. Windows 7 likes to use around 1-2 gigs of memory and Karmic like to use about 400MB with the same amount of apps open. Craziness I tell ya.

Yea, that's what I'm doing now. Windows 7 ultimate build 7600 and then Karmic Ubuntu 9.10. If I keep this config, I'm going to have to throw a new HD in this laptop to make everything fit the way I want since as it is, I'm choking Karmic pretty bad right now.
