Default Gear swap and locker install

I've been wanting to lock my rearend for a while now with a powertrax. While I'm down there I was thinking of regearing from my 3.55's. My truck is a dog around town because of the 33's on stock gears. The truck used to be pretty powerful with the 31's that were on it. Whats the best ratio for 33's
285/75/16's?

Which one would make the speedometer closer to stock, 4.10's or 4.56's?
I'll be doing this swap myself. I've set up a rear end before, but it was a 8.75 for a challenger. Seeing how this isn't a banjo style rearend like the chrysler 8.75, Would it be better to remove the rearend from the truck to swap gears?

hey did you fix your plenum and get superchips? because i run 33's and stock gears and its not a dog. it could be faster but i smoke all the ricers around town. but regaurdless id go with 4.56 so you can upgrade to 35's if you wanted to

I mean it's not that bad. It's just I can tell a lil difference thats all. I'm just weighing the cost of regearing vs. just putting in the locker.
