Default Got my Codes read today

Ok,
Bit the bullet and bought a scan tool today for half price!! I have been having transmission issues here and there. sometimes it runs fine for a week, then a bad day will come and it will slip, drive only in 1st gear and not shift on its own..., downshift to what feels like neutrel and so on. then an hour later it will be fine. here are the codes it shot me,

P1763-Gov. Pressure sensor voltage too high

P0138 - 02 circuit high voltage (bank 1, sensor 2)

P1757 - Gov Pressure sensor is above 3psi when 0psi is requested

SO, I'm guessing that i need to replace my gov. pressure sensor right??? or is there something that could be screwing up the pressure sensor???

Yeah. replace it and go from there. See if it helps and if the codes clear.

+1 for what J415 stated.

One thing though... that P0138 is not related to the tranny. Thats your post-cat oxygen sensor, in your exhaust system. Compared to the gov pressure sensor, thats a piece of cake to do. If you replace the post-cat O2 sensor, clear the codes, and it gives you yet another P0138 code after a bit of driving, your catalytic converter is most likely on its way out.

ok, i guess i will do some searching around to find a new pressure sensor. I called THE local trans guy the other day (before i read codes) and asked if changing them could cure my problem and he said "nope, i dont think so" i then said, if i buy the sensor from you, than change it and its still acting up, then you wouldnt have to replace that part when i get a rebuild, to which he replied "no, I would have to change them again for warranty reasons" so i kinda dont trust that **** anymore

Sounds like a dbag. The solenoid should fix your problems.
