Default Tighter steering ??

I have a 96 ram 1500 4x4 and the steering is pretty loose. How do I make it tight ? Also is a 96 5.2 suppose to have a carb ?

No Ram has a carb on it from factory
As far as the steering goes, could be the column bushing. Poorly design.
If thats the issue, this will fix it.

Maybe it's not a carb the air filter is just on top like that and you have to pump the gas a little ?

There is a DIY on here where you can tighten up the box. Adjust the bolt on top with an allen key after loosening the nut that goes around it. I'll try and find the link

I have heard mixed feelings about that bushing does anyone know for sure if it works ? Would a steering brace be better and where is a cheap place to get one ?

yes and no. You probably have worn out parts like pitman arm, ball joints etc. Check those first.
