Default my brakes, my brakes

i just finished rplacing my hub and my brake caliper, i bled the brakes about 4 times and still got no pressure, push all the way to the floor for brakes to work and if i pump them they build pressure then when i accerelerate then try to brake got no pressure, do i need to have them bled by a machine? wat could be the problem?

brakes were fine b4 replacing the hub and abs light and brake light is on

with the truck off pump up the pedel to rock hard. then while applying pressure turn the truck on, and if the pedeal goes to the floor the brake booster is good. That will eliminate 1 problem.

Is the master cylinder full? Did you replace the wheel cylinders? greese the caliper slides?



brake light and abs can come on from the speed sensor as well. but since you said its 4 wheel abs, something may have gone wrong with the hub?

this could be a dumb ? but are you bleeding them by your self or do yyou have some on helping you?

ok well for the info (not trying to say you dont). To bleed the brakes you have one person in side and one at the bleeder. the person in side pumps the brakes about 5 times then holds on the 5th pump then open the bleeder then close. do it till no air comes out then move to the next.

you started with the brake furthest away from master cylinder and worked forward right?

Also, just saying you cant let the brake pedel hit the floor, while you open the bleeder. I bet there is just a little air in there.
