Well, 3 hours if you know what your doing and EVERYTHING goes according to plan. I'm sure by now you know that things, more often then not, don't go according to plan. If I was doing it, I'd estimate a day or so just because I don't like to rush things for the sake of just getting it done.

I said it needs paint because that's what it said on the eBay ad. Unless you want a black dash, you'll have to paint it.

For a factory mopar dash I would give it a day for removal and installation because of the vent screws. The ebay one your looking 3-4 probably if your doing it by yourself and knowing how to install it. A drill with an extended number 2 philips bit will help with a speedy removal of the old one. Give it 5-6 hrs for the ebay dash if you don't know what you are doing. Add additional time if you have to ask someone what an extended number 2 philips bit is lol. The install isn't that bad. I was able to pull my used dash out of a junkyard with a friend in the the morning in an hour. Relaxed most of the afternoon. Then spent the 3-4 removing my old dash and installing the new one by myself. Obviously if your just buying a new dash, you can cut out most of the above and spend the 3-4 hrs to put it in. Wish you guys luck.

Thanks guys, I appreciate your input on everything... My old specialty is Jeep Cherokee but I bought my truck a while back and I have to say, I think this has been the best truck I have ever owned, aside from the old dash problem. I will be fixing that, and will probably swap out the kegger for one of the better intakes in the near future. Always love having a worthwhile project, and it is good to have other's thoughts and suggestion to help along the way.

I was going to merge this thread with the existing dashboard thread, since its along the same subject lines. However, since its already progressed as far as it has, I'm going to forgo that and just ask that, in the future, anything related to the dash cracks please go into the dash crack thread that is already on the front page.

No big deal, just trying to keep same-topic subjects in a single thread if possible.
