transfer case question-need input
hi all have an np231d transfer case from a 95 1500, was wondering if this would be a direct fit into a 99 2500 to replace an np241dhd. i do realize this would be a swap to a lesser transfer case, i just want to know if it will work. thanks.

all 2500s come with the 241hd... doesnt matter the motor. but it should fit. output shaft on the Slip yoke may not be the same, nor will the front drive flange...
it would not make sense to put a 231D in there.

the 2500 is not mine, it belongs to the guy who wants to buy my np231. i am just trying to make sure hes getting a part that works for his application, whether or not it is an inferior transfer case. if he still chooses to go forward, thats his choice.
