The proper size Long Tubes always make more power usually just about everywhere. The problem is that the pacesetters have 1 3/4" primaries which is really to large for a stock 360. 1-5/8 or 1-1/2 would be better for torque and power.

To the OP an x or H pipe is a must. The exhaust will not scavenge properly without a draw from both banks. The sound and power will improve with either.
