i have had two 3" blocks on my truck sence september and havent had any problems with them. but i did just order brand new 5.5" fabtech leafsprings so i can ditch the blocks and hopefully get a better ride out of it

so does anyone know about using a zero rate and shims? or the exact amount of lift before drive shaft problems?

i have 9" of lift. well only 7" of suspension, and never a problem. i had a frind with 12.5" and had no problems with the rear shaft, but front shaft would bind one in a while when his axle would drop when offroading

another quick question, i have the 5'' skyjacker lift kit and it came with a dropped steering arm, how much lift is that arm good for? how big of a deal is it if you have more lift on a smaller arm?

I thought the only reason to use a zero rate block was to re-center the re-axle after a reverse shackle flip. What other purposes do they serve?
