I was once a college student with a hot car, I went broke in short order. Not to be an *** but this is going to take some disposable income money. If you have a good summer job you might be able to swing it. Keep in mind if you are using the truck to commute any that you will be getting about 8 or 9 mpg.

Other than that, it sounds like a bad *** swap.

^ha that truck looks like a joke with those tiny front tires. you need real tires all the way around.

My sweet Mother of Mercy! I haven't heard that beautiful sound in years. My last Mopar Nationals in Columbus, Ohio in 1989 to be exact. Dammit that is the best sounding V8 in the world. No resonator needed like the new Hemi. I heard a new Hemi with a simple Cherry Bomb and no muffler and I gotta admit, it sounded more like an angry beaver attacking a goat.

that's not a bad idea gonna get started now lol

Honestly I don't think I'd do a swap like this in a 2nd gen. But that's just on opinion I think it'd be more fitting in a 1st gen that may be because I damn near had a 440 swapped 85 for my first truck....really shoulda done more shuckin and jivin on that deal

Talkin about cool swaps. I almost snagged a 87 ramcharger that had a common rail cummins 6 speed in it. Sittin on 44 boggers. It was BAD ***. If i woulda just had another grand to spend. He wanted 7500 and all i could do was about 6

That sounds sick. I was 16 and had the 85 with a cracked head and a crack head had a 440 out of a dump truck or something and wanted $200 we were gonna get it and swap it but didn't think it would bolt up to the tranny already behind the factory 318 so wound up selling the truck
