I replaced the fuel pump on a friends 99 2500.

Got it all put back together, and the lady that owns it says there is a little "hesitation" when she goes to start it. she was at a parts store getting a battery and someone told her they thought the starter was going.

I have not dealt with Dodges much to be honest...on my Ford, the starter works, and then it does not work. Period. Has anyone heard of a starter making the car hesitate a little before firing? Any ideas on other causes?
