Question superchip problem

I am trying to adjust my speedo with my superchips programer but it keeps telling me that my vehicle is not equiped with an abs module. My truck is an 01 and it has the speed senser on top of the rear axel. superchips doesn't open for questions till 8 tomorow. So I was wondering if anyone has had this issue? Or knew if it could be fixed? thank you in advance for any help you can offer.

your truck prolly doesnt have abs then. if you have speed sensors on the front axle, you do. open you hood and look next to the power distrubution center, the ABS module would be right next to that.

i thought all the 2nd gen had at least rear wheel abs and a few had 4 wheel abs. check that your abs module behind pdc is present, plugged in, etc. somebody might have unplugged it. do you have any cel or abs lights on ?

It should work. I only have the rear ABS (all 2nd gen trucks came with at least rear ABS), and I could adjust my speedo when I had my Flashpaq 3815.

i bought my superchips 3815 used off a guy with an 05 daytona ram and i havent had any problems adjusting anything, i know i have ABS not sure if its 2 or 4 wheel, try updating it online, you get some extra things on top of the normal stuff. it may fix any problem with your speedo tuner

Check and see if you have a "Kelsey-Hayes" abs controller or not ***The Hypertech unit can only program tire size if you do and it may be the same for others.
That is why some owners can and others cannot***It's not the programmer, it's the vehicle build that makes the difference.
