Im also having a problem with my sc 3815, after I adjust the tire size the screen reads "adjust speedo failed" it seem to do this right after I had updated it. I'll play around with it some more, then if all else fails I will call sc

I have recently purchased a new SC 3865 from Summit. I followed the directions that said update before you install, so I did. I tried to then adjust the speedo and it said no ABS module on truck. I checked for the Kelsley Hayes ABS and found it by the booster. I called SC and they said that its rare to happen but they would check into it, they think it will just be a new update and that they would get back to me. That was friday, they called back friday because they assumed I didn't know how to do it right and they walked me through it. It still didn't work and I'm still waiting to hear back from then. Granted today is only monday, I hope to hear back soon.

The trick with Superchips as a company is if you are by yourself, they won't do jack for you. However, once you get two or more people with the same issue, they move mountains for you usually. Just takes time.

well so far i have only had it on Mileage XS. I got around 13 with it, but I really didn't leave it on long just one fill up. I averaged around 12.3 without it. All mpgs were hand calculated and adjusted for the 35s. Right now its set on performance, just put 91 in it, and haven't checked the mpgs with performance yet

Superchips called me back today, this is what they said, "We apologize but we will not be able to correct the speedometer, as the ABS module is not responding. The ABS isn't bad, as in not working on the vehicle, its bad in the sense it doesn't want to respond to the ping sent out for adjustment, if we don't get a response, the tuner thinks there is no ABS module present. As in not detected."

Now that being said, is there anything I can do to help fix this problem. One of the main reasons I got a SC is to correct the speedometer, well and some more power

Tell them to send you one that is "good", and you'll send them the "bad" one to figure out their problem.

Well today I was bored and tried to figure out my problem. I put the tune to back to stock and reset the PCM, checked all connections and fuses, etc. While playing with the SC I noticed that in addition to the tire calibration the data logging feature did not work. I kept getting code J-1850 and something else. I don't know if this is related or not, but I still can't change my tire size.

However I can feel a slight increase in power and even got the 35s to spin a little. I'm gonna wait to see how much the mpgs improve with 91 to see if its worth keeping.

I plan on calling them back tomorrow with my new information and see about maybe getting a replacement and hope that helps.
