Default Anyone tried this bumper replacement?

I was wondering if anyone has used this companys bumpers before? seems to be a damn good price with shipping( around $235 bucks) and its black so thats a plus. Has all 4 pieces (top plastic, cover and air dam). I need to get a new bumper and all the junkyards here dont have any used ones for a good price. Mine got F-ed up this past winter so ive had to get a new hood and bumper, just havent gotten the bumper yet haha.

the new bumper,

I plan on bondoing the gash on the side and bedlining from about 2 in. down from the body molding all around the truck, and instead of painting the new bumper bedlining that as well.

I'm going to replace my front bumper also here in the next month or two but I was going to go with Pershing Auto Body on ebay but they're more costly...might go with the people you found.

What happened by the way? whats the story?

have made recent purchases from discountauto, pershing auto, usauto and auto depot.. replaced the front bumber and headlights twice (guess that is what it is for - bumping into things)

At the time I made the purchases - it was in single pieces.. The four part kit is a great deal and I am sure I will choose it the next time around..

I like autodepot for the prices and fast shipping

Go with the price - as they all are made in tiawain...

Use vinyl / plastic paint if painting the plastic pieces - enamel peels right off....

Did not use the lower valance piece - looks better (meaner) with the hooks sticking out..

OH and the parts fit the 1998 SPORT 1500 model just right too.. I have not found any difference in them - but not sure why the disclaimer..

oh i WANT the air dam, i HATE the look of these trucks without it haha. As ive said, im gonna bed line the bumper, leave the gray cover gray, so itll be black-black-gray-black

Well the story goes, I was pissed off, slight too much alcohol to be driving(not blackout fall down drunk, had 3 beers in 2-2.5 hours, i hate even having 1 and driving, my fault) and fresh snow. Was mad as hell an goin to fast for a drirt road/snow packed road and when a turn came up i couldnt slow down enough, ran into a ranchers pole or something, had a metal fence post sorta next to it so thats why the side got gashed up.

If you haven't ordered the bumper yet...go with Pershing not autosdepot. Pershing has a sale right now and total with shipping, a bumper set from pershing costs 214 vs autodepots 234. I know it's only 20 bucks but hey, 20 bucks is 20 bucks if you know what I mean.

And new bumper is ordered...can't wait to get it in now....
