Default after market trans cooler

i have a 1997 ram 2500 4x4 and i want to do an after market trans cooler on it. It sounds easy to install, ill do it myself. Just curious what everyone else out the there is running, where they got their's, and any tips/advice on installing one. Thanks!

i really don't know yet, i don't want to spend more than $100 on it, other than that i was just wondering what works the best, easiest to install, most common, whatever.

I have a summit trans cooler. With an autometer gauge in the pan I have gotten it up to about 150 degrees on a 75 degree day in traffic in a city. On the highway it was about 125 degrees. It is big and if you mount it to the front of the A/C condensor the second latch will hit it, do keep that in mind.

Do a search for posts by me on the topic of "trans cooler". I've posted tons of stuff on this topic as I have installed multiple trans coolers and compared them. The bigger the better, or get one with an integrated fan and thermostat. Also, install a temp gauge, or else you will never even know if it is working or not.

If I had the money to redo mine I would add a fan to it as well. I wonder if I have the room between the grille and the cooler.

That one is nice but I like to see what it is rated for. I'm going to get this one.
