If it is your cat and you only have 58,000 miles you should scream & yell at the dealer. Dodgeisaware of the problem and extended warranties on the cats for that reason, at least after they got into trouble. The age of your truck may cause problems but worth a shot. Mine did the same thing at about 60,000.

Howdy,
New to the board, I have a 97 2500 4x4 which has a bad Cat which I would like to replace in addition to installing a new muffler to get that deep throaty sound. What is the perfered set-up?
