Haha I should have taken pics. Im dead serious guys. Unless the gas pumps where way off I got 19mpg.

Did you get a lot of sleep before you did the math on your MPG's. Maybe you did get that kind of mileage but I find it VERY hard to believe.

Pretty far fetched I must agree, my BMW 328I only gets 22. then again, stranger things have happened!.

Actually no sleep but I re checked it several times and so did my buddy. He has an f 250 with the v10 and he got 16 going over..... sooooo might be the road?

My last trip I took I got 17.3 cruising 60 the whole way.

i have gotten 17.6 on a trip, avg speed closer to 80, that was with 3.55 and 265 tires, so i could maybe believe this, with smaller tires, slower speed, and good tailwind.

although now my avg mpg is about 10.. i gotta fix something

My wife's 96 reg cab short box 5.2 5spd 2wd 3.50 gears and 285/75R16s used to average anywhere from 15 to 17mpg driving on the country roads that we live on... We used to beat the crap out of that thing too; she liked to listen to the 318 talk to her and I was used to my 422rwhp Cummins.

Heck that thing even had a blown plenum gasket...

best I ever did was 23.4 gallons and 304 miles going from Ft Drum NY to Closter NJ. That was on my 5.2 with all the mods listed in my sig for my 1996 ram (Spruce Moose)
