Just got some tires from my buddy. They were free and couldn't pass them up. They're BF Goodrich Mud Terrains and are 33x12.5x16.5 I'm almost certain they won't fit on my stock rims but I'm curious as to what you guys have to say. Also where could I find some affordable rims to fit these tires?

 

You need 16.5" rims. If I where you, i'd sell them on craigslist and make some money off them. 16.5" rims are a weird size, and very hard to get tires for. That will affect you when these tires are warn out. If you had a 2500, you could get some take off Hummer wheels which are 16.5 - 8 lug, and they look pretty cool on Rams. But since your 1500 is 5 lug, you can't even do that.

 

Yeah i have those exact tires and they are getting a little harder to come by, so i scored some 16 in rims off craigs , to switch to when im done with these 16.5's

 

They'd only be winter tires if I can find rims for them. Does anyone know the specs on rims that would fit the tire and my truck? I know I need a minimum of 8" wide rims with more then 5" backspace. If anyone has any more specs I should look for let me know.

you will be hard pressed to find a 5 lug rim that is 16.5 its more of a dually size
