It will destroy the radiator sitting there. My radiator was pushed up and forward and was coming apart. I don't have it anymore so I unfortunatly can't get pics. When I put the new radiator in I drilled three small holes in the shroud and one in the middle of the top radiator brace. I used this hole and the 2 slits in the radiator along with the new holes in the shroud to zip tie the two together. It has been working well so far.
here it is sagging a bit... I know its from sitting/kneeling on it while tinkering
10 mins later it's back where it should be. Woulda been 5 if my drill battery was charged lol
yes, I did cut the zipties off lol
This is the view that the ol Magnum has for a lifetime.... no chafing on the rad thankfully
just curious if this is supposed to be like that?
dvaughn I got yer pm about the fix with self threading screws, but I didn't like the idea of screws that close to the rad, so I thought I'd try this way first and see how it holds up. Thanks for the link though
