slipped leaf spring & wheel squeak
I'm trying to figure out a couple of annoying squeakes on the driver's side. One occurs on bumps and I decided it must be from my driver's side leaf spring. One of the leaves has pushed slightly out to the side. My question is, can this be repaired or does it need to be replaced. Either way, how is this done?
On another note, I have a another squeak at the front left wheel. It seems to squeak once for a split second for every rotation at low speeds. What could this be?
Please and thankyou

I have a 01 ram 2500 and I have the same issue. I know it is in the suspension but not sure where. It is like a squak in my truck and I can feel it in the steering wheel if it is real bumpy. I hope we can get someone out there that has some knowledge on this.
it can be repaired, and actuallly i cant remember where but there is a thread on here or some where on one of the forums about leafspring's sqeeking.
It's a DIY and is quite simple, all its about is putting little rubber spacers between the leafs to keep them sqeeking, only pain in the *** is you have to take the leafs completely off the truck IE basicly dropping the axle.
it's not an easy project by far but it's simple and straight forward.
Hope this helps.
