Default Vacuum lines Behind distributor

I was changing my plenum gasket today and ready to put it back together I noticed a broken vacuum line but did not see anything broken in the engine. There is two vacuum lines that come out by the distributor cap one is white and one is green before the connection that turns them all black. On the Green vacuum line it ends with a 90 degree angel rubber piece and them to a plastic piece that looks like maybe a one way valve then that connection is what looks broke. What does the green one go to? I have a pic, but do not know how to attach it.
