went from full debadge to partial rebadge. seems a previous owner had the ram repainted and they skimped on the prep...so when i removed the stripe/molding on the side a nice chunk of paint peeled with it. i can't afford a paint job now so i sanded it down and reinstalled the molding. luckily, it covers the spot perfect.
on the bright side it was only the second piece , an easy fix and i'm not opposed to keeping the stripe.

 

close call, but yeah the stripe ain't bad. if mine wasn't already coming off i would have kept it. it helps with objects bumping into the sides. now my sides have no protection...

 

oh man...even if you park in the furthest nether regions of a parking lot, some 80yr. old Mr. Magoo is gonna park 6 inches from your door. to top it off he'll throw open his door like it's YOUR fault.

 

aint that the truth. yeah its pretty much inevitable. oh well, i kept all the pieces that i removed. i'm debating on whether or not to throw them in my storage or just scrap em.

 

Anybody have some before/after pics of a two-toned truck? I'm debating on doing mine, not because I don't like the badges necessarily, but just because it'll be different than all the other rams, and probably look cleaner..but I'd like to see some first.
