injectors

Default injectors

will 98-2001 360 injectors work in a 95 318 or is not worth the time

They are not the same thing. The later injectors are 23.2 lb/hr and the 95 has 18.2 lb/hr injectors. They will fit as they are externally very similar if not identical (besides top color).

Not only will they be the wrong rating (lbs/hr) as others have already stated, they also won't necessarily plug into the older harnesses. Can't remember when, but somewhere between 1996-1999, they changed the plugs and the wiring harnesses to a different style. Might have been when they switched to OBD II, but maybe not, I cannot recall exactly.

would it mess anything up puttin the bigger ones in.
im wondering because im puttin a modded kegger on and while im in there dont know if it worth puttin in the bigger injectors

96.5 is when they switched the connectors for the harness.

I still am in doubt over the whole "1996 and 1996.5" thing.

But thats beside the point... so they did change the electrical plugs/harnesses when they switched to OBD II. Thanks Yak.

So you'd have to do some custom wiring to get those newer injectors to work.
